The second segment quite simply reveals the use of Swatch Libraries for colour selection in Adobe Illustrator. To access Swatch Libraries, select Window > Swatches to bring up the Swatches panel. On the Swatches panel, click the burger menu in the top right (three lines) and go down to the expandable menu ‘Open Swatch Library’. Here in the sub menus you can find lots of useful colour selections arranged as themes, which you can deploy in your projects. It’s really useful if you’re seeking to use colour in a project and want to sample colours that work well together.

Finally, the ‘fineline negatives’ which I am sure are not completely original but nonetheless one of my favourite uses of the positive/negative diad in visual art, drawing and illustration.
